How do SMS and push reminders work?

Aleos keeps appointment communication attached to the booking itself. The channel depends on whether the salon has a mobile app, whether the client can receive push notifications, and which appointment update needs to be delivered.

01

Push comes first when the app is available

Clients using the salon's mobile app can receive push notifications for relevant confirmations, reminders, changes, and cancellations. Staff can also receive push updates for new bookings and cancellations that affect their working day.

02

SMS covers the eligible fallback

When push is unavailable, eligible reminders can fall back to SMS. Clients without the mobile app can receive SMS directly, depending on the notification flow configured for the salon.

03

SMS is charged only when sent

Each SMS message segment that is actually sent is charged at 3 RSD. Push notifications are not charged per message, so salons with a mobile app can use push first and reserve SMS for the cases where it is needed.
